i prefer the type of roleplay partner that is willing to chat about things oocly and be casual friends outside of our stories together. i've found over the years that my role-play is much more enjoyable this way. if you're not open to this, then you may want to seek another writer that is more in line with your style.ㅤ  rule 006  ㅤ : potential triggers
morwen definitely has some aspects of her that could be triggering for others. these mainly include themes of: religious trauma, grooming, and suicide. she is also a type of assassin, so death and murder are a part of her story. if these aspects bother you, this character may not be the right one to pursue for connections.

  PERSONALITY    being raised within not one but two forms of strict, overbearing religions, morwen's sense of direction is forever and always determined by Faith. it is her beacon, her strength. this rigidity of belief makes her inflexible and sometimes difficult to be around. she is dutiful, loyal, and will do whatever it takes to keep her life exactly as it is. in constancy there is safety. in constancy there is survival.

⸺  Biography

morwen was born and raised in a small dravanian village by the sea, albiga, far to the north of the continent of aldenard. in its isolation behind a shield of sharp mountains, this place blissfully escaped the battles between the dravanian dragons and the ishgardian armies. this solitude was swiftly and suddenly put to an end roughly eighteen cycles ago. morwen was taken back to ishgard as the sole living prisoner. shortly thereafter, she was 'adopted' by the ishgardian orthodox church.by necessity, morwen was forced to give up the ways of her people. she gave herself over to duty to the church and became active in maintaining the space and assisting with masses where she may and was allowed. with meekness and a willingness to do whatever was asked of her being desirable traits, morwen gained the favour of the clergy. as she matured, they gave her more complicated tasks to test her trust and her blossoming faith. she did not fail them.which brings us close to the current time. morwen continues to serve the church and by extension the holy see itself, even though the end of the dragonsong war has come and gone. she cannot place the feeling, but she can sense that the world around her has changed--not necessarily for the better. there is a tense feeling in the air as unspoken grievances still linger, and enemies are not as clearly marked as they were in the past. still, unable and unwilling to shift as the world does, morwen clings to her duty like a lifeline. for now, it is all she has. morwen's internal life is fraught, though she keeps it tucked within herself so that others cannot see and tries to drown it with prayers that so far have gone unanswered. even the smallest glimpse into the knight's situation could easily betray her deep-held sadness. as badly as she wishes to hide it, it pours out of her, endlessly.

  APPEARANCE    from a time before she could speak, morwen has been taught to treat her body like a vessel: for it is. that is one of her many core beliefs. she puts effort into herself, from grooming to strenuous exercise and training. her overall body language could be considered "stiff", though when speaking to people she respects her eyes are often downcast. as to be expected, she dresses modestly for the most part.
